What a great weekend at strength to stand. The last session this morning focused on Jesus is Lord and it is finished. The challenge now that we are home is always what do we do with Jesus? What is our plan to walk in God's presence? We have encouraged our students to share what happened this weekend with their family and friends. God moved and answered our prayers, we grew individually and as a group. We are so blessed to share this ministry with such great families. Thank you for investing with God in what He is doing here at Hebron.
Thanks

Do You Have the Strength to Stand?
Well, parents...
It's been amazing, and that's the understatement of the century.
We prayed for God to show up... He did.
We prayed for Him to move in a big BIG way... He did.
We prayed that He would change lives... He did.
We prayed that our students would grow individually and that we would grow as a student body... we did.
Recap of the day Sunday: This morning, Steve had set up a surprise for us: we got to have a meet and greet time with worship leader Matt Papa. THAT was cool! After our morning session, we left for good ole Gatlinburg, split up into groups and had lunch, then headed back to the hotel for some free time.
The water-slide was apparently a huge hit. #indoorpoolfun
We had "5 Guys" for dinner, then our awesome bus driver, Mr. Ben, drove us to our evening session.
"How was that?" you may ask.
Well, let's just say, three words can basically sum it up.

Jesus is LORD.
What a powerful night with Scott Dawson, a concert by TobyMac and Audio Adrenaline, some GREAT decisions made by our students, and then a "you-just-had-to-be-there" family group time back at the hotel.
So, after our session in the morning Monday we'll load up and head home!
Question of the weekend: Do you have the strength to stand?
The answer will most definitely be "YES."
We love your students... and they are IT. We're praying for them as they return home to you and go back into their usual routine that they would live explicitly: clear, with no room for doubt.

We're Here!
Strength to Stand 2014 has commenced!
We arrived in Pigeon Forge, got checked in, and headed to our first session of Xplicit: No Room for Doubt.
Matt Papa helped us get our hearts in the right place starting off the night with some powerful worship...

I lift my hands open wide
Let the whole world see
How You love, how You died
How You set me free
Free at last I surrender
All I am with open hands
with open hands
To finally let go of my plans
These earthly kingdoms built of sand
Jesus at Your cross I stand with open hands.
Then we heard from Dave Edwards. Be sure to ask your student about "fig leaves."
"God is not asking you to get your life together, then He'll love you. He's asking you to come out of hiding; He already loves you."
He spoke on relationships and lead us through Genesis 2-3.
Next, STEVE BROWNING asked us a super-pointed question: "Who do YOU say Jesus is?"
In Matthew 16, Jesus asks His disciples, "Who do you say I am?"
Now we're headed to talk about it as a group. Pray for the Lord to move and awaken our hearts this weekend! He's already started through the messages and worship tonight!
Would you be willing to live a life that leaves no room for doubt?
