God is moving!

The 3rd day of camp is always the hardest, as students are exhausted and worn out from a full, past two days of camp. Despite their unashamed exhaustion, the students charged at the day with an energy they pulled from nowhere. Beginning with a morning celebration service that challenged our students to grow their daily walk with Christ, students were keyed in and focused.

They left from their to their second day of Breakouts in which they had the option to choose from break-outs ranging from tips to sharing their faith with friends led by Glen Rowden, a special "girls only" break-out that was top secret for our ladies led by Lydia Holland, a break-out that outlined a strategy for students to have a daily quiet time with Christ led by Flip Johnson and a special break-out led by Flaviu Pop talking through some of the "big questions" that students are asking today.

Students left from the break-outs to have a quick lunch and then to change for the afternoon group recreation activities. Today was water day and the sunshine that finally joined us on the rec field was refreshing, to say the least. Robbie Crawford, our HSM Intern did a tremendous job of leading our rec teams in a fun day full of water balloon volleyball, a water balloon slingshot competition, slip-n-slide kickball, a water relay, and of course a giant, slip-n-slide bowling match. Students had a blast cooling off in the water games while we were out in the hot sun!

This evening the mood was toned down a bit as we entered into our final evening worship service. The James Patrick Morgan band led our students right up to the throne preparing their hearts for worship and Chad, our speaker, challenged our students to pin-point the name of one of their friends that they needed to share Christ with upon their return back to Georgia. Students then left to their final Family Group time and God moved. During family groups we had 6 students accept Christ as Lord and Savior for the very first time, as well as several other decisions to commit their lives to follow Christ in a stronger way -- Praise the Lord!!
The night was finished off with our Hebron's Got Talent tournament! We were blown away by the wealth of talent that performed! We had singers, rappers, comedians, musicians, fork breaking, and even "extreme bandana flicking tricks".

God is moving here. We have one more service tomorrow morning, so please keep praying that our students would keep their hearts tender to what He wants to teach them in the morning. After our final service in the morning, we'll be loading the busses and headed home with an anticipated arrival of 4:30 or 5ish which makes this our final post for the week. Thanks for your prayers and support during the week while we've been away! We'll see you tomorrow!
